We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new project in Jakiri, made possible through our partnership with the Government of Canada via the CFLI initiative. At SELF, our mission is to ensure that sanitary pads are not only accessible but also affordable for everyone in the community.
Our primary goal is to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and to eliminate the shame often associated with it. We believe in empowering both women and men in the Jakiri municipality to openly support and advocate for menstrual health.
Through this project, we are working to create a community where menstrual health is not only understood but also respected and actively supported by all members. Together, we are paving the way for a future where everyone can experience dignity and equality in menstrual health.
